Osteria di Passignano was founded by Marcello Crini, a passionate connoisseur and expert in Tuscan food and wine culture, and Allegra Antinori in 2000. The Antinori family owns the vineyards surrounding the abbey and produces Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Badia a Passignano, aging takes place in the medieval cellars directly under the monastery. Osteria di Passignano’s aim is to rediscover the rich gastronomic and winemaking traditions the territory is so well known for.
