A short documentary about the Antinori family by film director Cinzia Th. Torrini: “The Antinori’s: Vintners since 1385” opens a conversation on the long history of the Marchesi Antinori family and the role it held in Florentine society in past centuries. Several of the most representative works of art from the family’s private collection illustrate their culture, values, and traditions over time.
The tour winds through the winery’s outdoor and indoor spaces focusing on production processes, the innovative architecture and contemporary works of art that are on display throughout the itinerary. Guests will have special access to production areas, barrique and barrel cellars, and the area where large casks are left to age.
The wine tasting experience will be held in the splendid suspended glass tasting room or in the more intimate Bottaia room and includes four wines: Conte della Vipera Umbria IGT, Villa Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva and Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione.
The selection of wines may change depending on the season and availability.
