Donna Cora Satèn

Vinification

The whole bunches of Chardonnay, picked entirely by hand, were given a soft pressing. The must went directly into temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for the initial fermentation. In the spring of the following year, the wine underwent a second d fermentation, this time in bottle, remaining in contact with its fine lees for an extended period.

Tasting Notes

Donna Cora offers a brilliant yellow color to the eye. Its foam is creamy, with a delicate and persistent perlage. The nose is refined with pleasant sensations of the fruity and floral fragrance of white fruit. The palate shows much finesse and balance, characterized by great elegance.

Tenuta Montenisa

The estate is located in the heart of the Franciacorta production zone around the centuries-old hamlet of Calino. The vine has always been cultivated in this area of important wines. Some in fact maintain that “Franciacorta” has its origin in the phrase “Petite France”, an affectionate name given to it by Charlemagne.
